Always disable [turn off] any features that you don’t want to be used. Don’t rely on people simply to ignore unwanted functions; because if they are available someone will use them, while others may not – leading to inconsistencies.
Make sure that you have a full record of your configuration decisions and rationale – put the details in your disaster-recovery/ business continuity pack. |
